Four Years at Sea Taught Me What Hair Really Needs
For four years, I worked as a chief stewardess aboard some of the world's most beautiful superyachts — chasing sunrises across oceans, living out of a cabin, and watching my hair take a beating from salt water, wind, sun, and one too many hot showers on a tight turnaround.
I tried everything. Luxury brands, drugstore fixes, whatever a crew member swore by in the last port. Nothing was made for the way I actually lived — constantly exposed, constantly on the move, and done with hiding behind claims I couldn't pronounce.

Owning something of my own had always been the plan — I just hadn't found the right thing to build it around yet. Four years of living out of a suitcase gave me plenty of time to dream about what that might look like, and somewhere between ports, the answer was right there in my own hair routine.
It started as a handful of formulas I mixed up between charters, under the name Gold Coast Hair — inspired by the Australian coastline I fell in love with along the way — Kakadu plum, macadamia oil, native tea tree. Ingredients that actually do something, without the chemicals I'd spent years trying to avoid.
Gold Coast Hair grew into Nourimere — a name that's truly ours.

The Name
Nourimere is a name with a lot of meaning to me. 'Nouri' comes from my family name, and echoes the French nourrir — to nourish — which is everything I want this brand to be.
Our Collections
Nourimere is inspired by Australia, and each collection is named after a place that inspired it. Our first is The Gold Coast Collection — Nourishing Shampoo, Hydrating Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioner and Hair Growth Oil — with more collections inspired by Australia's coastline still to come.
